Wait, what?
Ok, it makes no sense, but it’s a lot of fun.
Here are 5 tips for keeping trick or treating fun & safe for all!
5. IT’S ALL ABOUT THE SOLE.
Keep it comfy. Many costumes ‘require’ the right shoe whether it be that really sparkly princess heel or Captain Jack Sparrow’s adventurous boot, but remember your kids (and you) will be walking…and walking. This should be a no-brainer, but hey, remember that one Halloween? Oh yes you do.
While you’re at it, plan your escape route too! Uh, I mean, the way in which you’ll walk back home (or to the car) when the little bitty vampires, witches and Elsa’s start complaining they’re cold, or want to stop, or are tired or scared or have to pee. Speaking of that, make sure everyone uses the bathroom before you go and plan potty stops on your totally amazing pre-planned route, you know because when you have kids, pre-planning always works. In all seriousness, if you know where you’re going, you can make a friends’ house a pit stop!
