I love me some Amazon Prime. But I also love to shop small as much as I can and sometimes I think that by purchasing on Amazon, I’m not supporting small and medium sized businesses. But, you can!
Did you know that as of May 2023, more than 60% of sales in Amazon’s store came from independent sellers—most of which are small and medium-sized businesses?
It’s true.

Now, when I can support local businesses within my community, I do. But let’s be real, Amazon has changed the game for better and for worse. I think in the last 20+ years, many small shops have closed because they couldn’t compete. But other small shops have been able to start selling products on Amazon. And I think that’s a bright light. But do you know how to find those small shops on Amazon?
How To Find Small Business Owners On Amazon

First go to the little ‘hamburger’ below the Amazon icon in the upper left corner and click.

Then scroll down to “Small & Underserved Businesses”

Then select what you’re looking for! You’ll get the whole Amazon shop where small business are selling. You can find them within the shopping traditionally, but this is easiest.
I’ve been an Amazon Influencer for several years now. All that means is that I can get ‘tips’ from the sales you all make through my Amazon link and storefront. Amazon hosts several special shopping days throughout the year, including Black Friday, Prime Days and the newest one coming up October, Prime ‘Big Deal’ Days. Consider this one like Black Friday before Black Friday.
But the only caveat is, is that you must be a member of Prime. So if you don’t have Prime and want to, I’d love to share my link with you!
If you’re doing ANY Shopping on Amazon today, I’d love to ask you to use my affiliate link! I get a tip from Amazon and it helps to support this site!
